My dear Tangerine Dream,

We met by accident, yet deliberately,

We stayed in touch, and meticulously,

We disassemble our feelings,

Attempting to understand,

“Where does it start…and

…Where does it end?”

Simply put:

It is like all the love I’ve

Ever lost, has come back to me,

And all at once, I am full,

(Of you)

Overwhelmed with pleasure,

Joy and gratitude, I am convinced;

It is not just me! For everywhere we look,

We see each other… (In ourselves,)

Even nature is on our side!

Swallowing us, whole,

She drowns us in her

Cocoon of comfort and

Companionship;

We sink.

You see,

Fate is a poem and to

Be deliberate with our intentions

Equates to—rolling a dice and

Not doubting to land perfect sixes—

In other words:

It is no accident that the

Universe came up with us, and

…With such timeliness, too?

Really, what are the odds?

We should therefore, bask

In our union, and re-unions,

Whether for a day,

A month or a year,

Let us ignore the world,

Let us forget to care and

In Pablo Neruda’s words,

“Let us do with each other,

What spring does with Cherry trees…”

Over and over and over, again.

Oh, tangerine dream,

In a basket full of fruit,

I choose you, as

I am most fascinated by you, and

Like a child, you

Evoke faultless curiosity, so

I invite you to play, and

I can only hope that you will stay,

Pure and true…as, I have since come to

Love you that way.
